This app would replace calendar event notifications, providing snooze functionality and notifications persistence.
IMPORTANT: please disable any Android power optimizations for this appNOTE: app in existing state hit a dead-end and will no be further developed or maintained, as it needs significant re-design of the concept to meet demands and requirements of the new API levels.
Also: If you are having repeating / duplicate event notifications - disable manual calendar rescan.
Also: If you are having events firing at wrong time - disable manual calendar rescan.
(If still happening - thats an issue with your device or calendar sync provider).Some guide for pre-Oreo users added

"Events that I snooze on my phone do not appear to be snoozed on other devices synced to my Google Calendar; I'm getting constant reminders on my sync'd calendar on my PC (even though the event was snoozed on the phone for a day). Can it be fixed or have I configured things wrong? BTW: Github for Q&A is about the most user-hostile place. EDIT: After finding no other snooze app worth a damn, I'm back to using it. Now everything goes into a single notification, which doesn't show all of my events, doesn't show times of events (I need it to show start AND end times and now it only shows start times and only on the day of), and I can't remove notifications without going into the app. The app is far less useful than just going into Google calendar, and this is an annoyance and a waste of my time. The update has completely removed every feature I found useful."
